[Trans] 101213 Yamashita revealed Jaejoong is one of the Asian artistes he admired
Japan popular idol, Yamashita Tomohisa, will be holding his solo concert at Kowloon Bay Star Hall on the 29th and 30th of the coming month, attracting fans to queue overnight. He announced that there will be an additional show in the afternoon of 29th during the interview held at the hotel. Tickets will start selling tomorrow and fans have to be quick to get a ticket.

[Trans] 101220 Reborn TVXQ’s “Athena” Insert Song Release
TVXQ’s new song which was decided to be the insert song for drama “Athena: Goddess of War” (SBS) was released on 20 December.
As a two-man team, TVXQ has set off on a new start. This insert song, is just right for the flashy action scenes in the drama, and singing this song which shares the same title “Athena” as the drama, it is predicted that it will fascinate the viewers.
This song is a grand thrilling performance, with a strong band sound impression number. The duo’s passionate vocals is superbly expressed in the image of the song.
Starting from 10am on 20 December, various music sites such as Melon, Dosirak, Bugs, and Cyworld have started releasing the song. The music video which features spectacular scenes from the drama is also scheduled to be released, and the anticipation of music fans are high.
TVXQ’s new album is scheduled for release next year, on 5 January.

[News] 101220 JYJ starts touring Korea for autograph sessions

Singing trio JYJ started touring Korea yesterday to hold autograph sessions promoting the release of their worldwide album “The Beginning.”
A press release by the boys’ promoter Prain Inc. said Friday that purchasers of the limited edition of “The Beginning” will be able to take part in autograph sessions set to be held in five cites across the nation including Seoul, Daegu, Busan, Incheon and Gwangju.
“We’re hoping the nationwide autograph session will be a Christmas gift to fans who have lavished JYJ with support since their album’s release,” JYJ’s Korea management agency C-jes was quoted as saying.
JYJ, formed of Jaejung, Yuchun and Junsu, made their debut in 2004 as part of the popular boy band TVXQ, but despite their phenomenal success in Asia, they ceased their activities as a group after being involved in a legal dispute with the Korean agency SM Entertainment.
They made a comeback to the music scene in October as a trio under the name JYJ and released their record in mid-October after which they held a global showcase and held their first concert as JYJ.

[TRANS] 101220 Three Uncomfortable Questions Asked To The Three Guys Of JYJ
Micky Yoochun, Xiah Junsu and YoungWoong Jaejoong. Three guys who are now called JYJ, not TVXQ. They are currently healing from the 'heartbreak' from their legal dispute and past ordeals. As many can see, they are going at full power on their activities. However, the fans who are watching over them have conflicting feelings. It is more so as U-Know Yunho and Choikang Changmin, who are left in the team, have decided to make a comeback as TVXQ next January. On the afternoon of the 15th, the chilliest day of the year, we asked the three members, who visited the editorial office hidden in thick coats, questions that fans have been wanting to ask. We picked the three questions that reporters have been most curious about, which may cause them to be the most uncomfortable questions for the three members to answer. Though we worried at first that they might have sensitive reactions to our questions, the members stated that they were finally able to speak of the emotions they had been containing for so long and their words seemed to cry out in relief as they could finally 'blow off some steam'.

"I tried calling them a couple of times. There were even times when the call went through. But suddenly, it stopped working." (Jaejoong)
Our question and answer session began immediately with an awkward question. These five guys have been living under the same roof and nurturing their dreams together. But as they each chose the road they wished to take, the situation became tangled. The wall of reality that is blocking is them is as high as it can be. We first asked them if they have been keeping in contact with U-Know Yunho and Choikang Changmin, who have announced their comeback as TVXQ next January. This is something that fans have been most curious about.

A few words continued back and forth after this. While we were at it, we decided to ask them how they felt when they learned of Yunho and Changmin's comeback. The members, who had been wearing bitter expressions till then, finally erased this expression from their faces. Our prediction that they would show subtle feelings of disapproval was completely wrong.
"Of course we're supporting them. We hope that they perform in a manner that is fitting to the name TVXQ." (Junsu)
The two other members, Micky Yoochun and YoungWoong Jaejoong, began to nod. The three members confessed that Yunho and Changmin frequently appeared in their dreams.
"When we were caught up in the happening (lawsuit), we were at a point where we couldn't talk about things with other people. Those days were so frustrating. Back then, our two friends frequently appeared in our dreams. There were times when they would appear in the dreams of all three of us at once." (Jaejoong) "During the afterparty of the showcase, we all hugged each other and cried our eyes out. I think we did that because we felt so frustrated and stuffy." (Junsu)
At their position on top, they have each chosen their separate roads. But their friendship has not changed. We wondered what effect the recent news of H.O.T's reunion had on the members. At our cautious question asking if we would be able to see the five members on one stage in the future, they gave us their answer as if it was obvious.
"We're keeping the possibility open. If it can be done..." (Junsu) "Just because we're keeping the possibility open, doesn't mean it will definitely happen, but our support for them will never change. But I feel it will take a long time for such a thing to happen." (Yoochun)

JYJ’s Yoochun reveals he has gotten closer with Park Min Young since their dating scandal
JYJ’s Park Yoochun recently revealed an ironic twist to the story involving himself and actress Park Min Young. It turns out that although relationship rumors emerged about the two, they actually became closer because of them.
During an interview, OSEN asked, “Not long ago, there was a scandal with your co-star for the drama ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal‘. How did you feel about that?” Yoochun replied, “When I first heard about the relationship rumors, I thought, “I’m guessing it’s not that big a deal.”He continued, “However I realized later that those one or two articles multiplied into a huge number. I was surprised. But I actually became closer and more comfortable with Park Min Young after that.”
“Usually when there are dating rumors about stars acting in the same drama, there are a lot of cases when their relationship becomes strained – so it’s unusual for us to have gotten closer. We just got more comfortable with talking to one another. I’m glad we got closer.”
When asked about his future goals on tackling both his acting and singing simultaneously, “If there was a difference between singing and acting, singers show their everything in one performance, while actors distribute it out slowly. I take joy in entering roles. After living as Lee Seon Jun for a while, I actually found stress relief from expressing a personality that I never had.”
In a request to send a message to his fans, Yoochun expressed, “As the hopeful 2011 approaches, even if I’m having a hard time now, I don’t want to talk about the past. As JYJ, we’re prepared to show just how hard we can work, and display ‘the furthest of efforts’. I also would like to naturally meet with our fans. We will be having fun with our promotions next year, so please watch over us.”

[News] JYJ are open to the idea of reconciliation with TVXQ
JYJ recently expressed their unfailing wish to promote together as a five-membered TVXQ.
During an interview with Money Today Star News, JYJ expressed, “It’s disappointing for TVXQ to promote as two separate teams. It might be frustrating right now, but we want each other to do well.”
It was recently reported that Yunho and Changmin will be releasing their first track after a two year, three-month hiatus under ‘TVXQ’ this coming January. However, Yoochun emphasized, “It’s still the same now, but all five are TVXQ members. Right now it’s not about who gets to use the TVXQ name that’s important.”
Junsu added, “It’s complicated and disappointing for us too, but I believe that we’re both about the same. Even though there is an inevitable wall between us, we both still need to continue on with activities without shame.”
Lastly, Star News asked, “Is there any possibility for TVXQ to get back together?” All three JYJ members stated, “If it is a problem we can solve ourselves, then we would solve it right now. We’re always open for the possibility.”

TVXQ and JYJ member Kim JaeJoong (Hero JaeJoong) posted a picture of himself and Kim JunSu (Xiah Junsu) inside a car.
Just recently on Kim Jaejoong’s personal twitter, he tweeted ‘I’m sorry, Junsu-yah…’ together with the picture.
In the picture Kim Jaejoong is seen wearing black sunglasses and showing a white face, proving he has his own light shinning. Even wearing the sunglasses and with the picture being slightly shaky, there was no doubt left about his stunning beauty (?). Next to him, Xiah Junsu can be seen head down devotedly. His outer appearance is not as visible as Kim Jaejoong but still his artist vibe can be felt.
When netizens saw the picture they responded ‘Youngwoong Jaejoong is a self luminous.’ ‘His shining beauty can’t be hidden even at a picture’ ‘Junsu-yah, show your front side!’

[News] 101219 ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ Has Surpassed 290,000 Watching Testimonies
KBS drama ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ has surpassed 290,000 numbers of watching testimonies.
Commonly a drama that receives hot responses from audiences will get around 20,000-30,000 watching testimonies posted in its respective viewers notice board. KBS ‘Baker King, Kim Tak Goo’ whose rating beyond 50%, up to December 19th at 6pm has received 26,128 comments. While ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ got 11 times more audiences feedback than the ‘Baker King’ with stunning number of 300,056 comments.
This year audiences feedback on dramas broadcast by KBS has raised to 555,808 comments in total. Out of this number, ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ contributed approximately 52% of it. If all feedback from other dramas other than ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ are sum up altogether, it only reaches 265,119 comments, still fewer than the number ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ drama has on its own. Eventhough the drama was not the best one in term of viewer rating, ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ seems to be ranked at the top for its number of audiences testimonies.
Executive Producer for KBS Korean drama Kwak Gi-won said, “I already knew Micky Yoochun (Park Yoochun)’s product attractiveness effect. But I never expect the message board will be this much bombarded by testimonies.” There are various stories coming about Park Yoochun who acted the role Lee Seon Jun at the message board. Audiences professed as a scholar to another audiences who also played scholar role and given themselves title of ‘Sangyu’ (T/N: Sangyu: title for scholar of SungKyunKwan, e.g Sangyu Lee Seon Jun).
The rest drama with high audiences feedback are ‘Cinderella’s Step Sister’ with 33,502 cases at 2nd place, ‘Chuno’ is ranked 3rd with 33,268 cases. ‘God of Study’ which received 28,902 comments and ‘Three Brothers’ that got 27,864 are ranked 4th and 5th respectively. While ‘Baker King, Kim Tak Goo’ is at the 6th place.
