[TRANS] 100601 The “4th The Musical Awards” – 3 Points To Look Out For

The “4th The Musical Awards” will take place in a week’s time. This event will bring about a conclusion to the past year’s musical dramas which were loved by the audience, and at the same time, it also represents a brand new beginning in the musical theater.

(Middle part omitted)

At this point, we have summarized three major points to look out for in this year’s award ceremony.

Point 1: Who will be the newcomer who is most recognized for his/her debut in musical theatre?

In the past year, there has been an increase in the number of talented newcomers debuting on the scene of the musical theater. Among them, there are artistes who have proven their abilities through auditions to get the part of the main lead, and even though they were still active in other areas of their career, their debut in challenging the musical theater had also brought about a huge success.

This is especially so for the much anticipated Xiah Junsu, who is a nominee for the “Best Male Newcomer Award”. Before the official opening of the performance, all of the sessions in which Xiah Junsu were performing in were completely sold out. In the musical “Mozart!”, Xiah Junsu successfully debuted by winning over the critics and affirmation of the audience alike with his stable singing ability and acting skills which exceeded expectations. The appearance of Xiah Junsu not only triggered a phenomenon of idols being sought after for musicals, it has also brought to him the honour of being nominated for “Best Male Newcomer”.

(Later part omitted)

As to who would gain the final honour of being termed best newcomer amongst the five actors and actresses who have garnered much attention with their debut in the musical theater, let’s wait in anticipation.
