[TRANS] 100616 The reason behind their tears of sorrow

The new unit formed by Junsu (23), Jaejoong (24) and Yoochun (24) - members of the Korean 5-member group Dong Bang Shin Ki - recently held 4 Thanksgiving concerts in Osaka's Kyocera Dome and Tokyo Dome, drawing an audience of over 200,000, their scream-like cheers echoing throughout the stadiums.

Since last year, all of TVXQ's group activities have been put on hold as a result of the lawsuit between JYJ and their Korean management company SM Entertainment. Jaejoong, who conveyed his thoughts in fluent Japanese said 'The pain of not being able to voice our true thoughts and feelings to all of our fans.' 'Even though I tried to contain myself, I cried because there were only three of us standing on the stage of Kyocera Dome, but today, I will show you a happy face.' Despite this, their crying silhouettes were made clearly visible through the big screen.

Regardless, it is heartwarming to hear that over 1 million fans applied for the JYJ thanksgiving concerts.

None of Tohoshinki's songs were included on the tracklist, which instead, was mostly made up of the members' new tracks and duets. The three also performed Whitney Houston's 'I Have Nothing'. The members' talent was exhibited through their flawless use of falsetto, their dancing, rapping and strong vocals. From now on, it is likely that the three will continue to pursue solo careers whilst maintaining their activities as a unit.

Many fans expressed their nostalgia and grief: 'Even though it was an amazing live performance, it is not the same as when there are five of them...'
